Day 5-12/2/10

Woke up bright and early to go to Premier Vision. This unfortunately was very boring and slightly pointless-probably more for fashion design or buying. We just chilled and sat around which was actually quite a laugh!

We got the bus back about 4pm then went for dinner and drinks again at De La Ville Cafe (almost a fight on the metro on the way there!)we got the metro back at about 11pm to pack but got followed on the way home from the station to the hotel...SUCH a dodgy area!

The next day we travelled back, all in all it was a really good trip, I had laugh and saw some amazing things. However, the hotel was very poor and in a bad location. I definately would have liked some more nights out!

Day 4-11/2/10

Got up for breakfast at 9am and left for Hotel De Ville to see the Pompidou centre. We then went into a modern home accesory shop called Fleux and then a sex shop called Passage Du Desir! Then we went to a bead shop and bought a few pressie's then off to an amazing vintage shop!

Went for lunch then headed off to the Notre Dame which was very impressive. We then went to an quality shop called Merci and then caught the metro over to the Eiffel Tower. We had a lovely dinner but were so tired we couldn't make it up the tower itself but was in awe at the beauty of it at night.

Day 3-10/2/10

Woke up at 9.30 and nearly missed breakfast. Got the metro to find the Foundation Pierre Berge Yves Saint Laurent. We walked out of the metro and were faced with a massive blizzard which was great fun!

We got lost trying to find the museum but luckily bumped into a guy that worked there whol showed us the way. We walked around the exhibition which was based on traditional indian style-bit dissapointing. We then went to find the Musee Baccarat which took ages, when we eventually found it we all thought it was beautiful-lots of glass, mirrors and lighting.

We then went to the Champs Elysees and had lunch. We walked up and t=down looking at the shops snd bought some valentines presents for the boyf. Finally we head over to the Louvre and went to Angelines and had some of the famous hot chocolate! A very knakering day so stayed in the hotel in the evening and chilled.

Day 2-9/2/10

Woke up at 6.30 to have breakfast at the hotel (another dissapointment!)We then left at about 8.30 for Versailles but there was major traffic and the journey ended up being about 2-3 hours!

We went to the palace which was impressive and beautiful but fairly boring as it wasn't really my thing-it seemed slightly irrelevant to the point of going (looking for male trends!) Our lecturer Morgane then gave us a short overview on the bus home which made it make alot more sense!

We then went to De La Ville Cafe for social drinks, then went to a Turkish restaurant for dinner then back to the bard for more drinks! Got home at about 2am because the metro stops running at 1!

Day 1-8/2/10

We left Nottingham on Monday morning fairly late (about 1am) compared to the schedule. Got about 20 mins away from the starting point then the coach nearly overheated! However, Jim the bus driver decided to ignore it so off we went into the night!

We arrived at the hotel at lunchtime and was dissapointed...it looked unfinshed down our corridor then we found out our room inparticular had a broken shower, you could only open the bathroom door from the outside and then the main light bulb blew!!

We were absolutely knakered but decided to have a shower then go into Paris rather than have a nap.

We went over to the Sacre Coeur and to the surrounding area.

We then went to Colette, a fashion and style boutique in Rue Saint-Honoré and thought it was amazing with so many different elements and quirky/novelty products. However, they were extremely tight with taking photo's so here's what I got.

We then had a look at some of the window displays in the area then went for dinner.
